Tonsillectomy (Tonsils Removal Surgery)

While tonsillectomy can be performed as a stand-alone procedure for the treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea, it often combined with other procedures to address retro-palatal collapse.  Tonsillectomy is a relatively short procedure with minimal risks.  Full recovery requires approximately 6-8 weeks and generally patients require 7-10 recovery days before being able to work.
